    I like the title but I don’t understand. What is “Preinternet dating?”

    The text in the image is from an old swedish book about two people having trouble meeting new people.

    But then came this new invention called minitel

    Minitel was a French pre-World Wide Web online service, so the title should actually have been Pre-WWW online dating instead of Pre-Internet.

    So Pre-Internet dating is dating before the Internet.
